Terms of Service
Last updated October 9, 2026
These terms explain the rules for using Libwanda. By creating an account or using libwanda.com, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
Libwanda ("Libwanda", "we", "us") runs libwanda.com, a professional workspace and opportunity platform for creatives, based in Kigali, Rwanda. You can reach us at info.libwanda@gmail.com.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and at least 18 to post jobs, offer paid reviews or make payments.
- Give accurate information, confirm your email address, and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person per account. Don't impersonate anyone or create accounts to get around a suspension.
- Tell us right away at info.libwanda@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3. Your work and content
You keep ownership of everything you upload: projects, files, portfolio items, resources, messages and comments ("your content").
You give Libwanda a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, resize, compress and display your content only as needed to run the platform for you, for example to show your portfolio, send presentations to the people you share them with, or create optimized versions of images. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others already received it (for example a message you sent) or we must keep it by law.
You decide who sees each project: Private, Unlisted (anyone with the link) or Public (your portfolio and Explore). Public content can be viewed by anyone. Visitors can view designs but not download the original files.
You must have the right to upload everything you share, including work made for clients and any third-party material in it.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Libwanda to:
- upload content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights, or that you don't have permission to share;
- post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent or deceptive;
- send spam, scams or unsolicited advertising, including through Messages, jobs or hire requests;
- upload malware, or try to access accounts, files or systems you aren't allowed to;
- scrape or copy the platform or other members' work at scale;
- submit false or someone else's identity documents for verification;
- post fake jobs or collect applicants' personal information for anything other than hiring.
We may remove content, reject submissions, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can report content to us at info.libwanda@gmail.com.
5. Reviews and paid reviews
- Reviewers are independent members, not Libwanda employees. Feedback is their opinion; you decide what to do with it.
- A reviewer may accept a request for free or quote a fee. A paid review starts only after the creative pays the quoted fee.
- Libwanda keeps a 15% service fee from every review fee; the reviewer earns the remaining 85%.
- If a creative cancels a paid review before any feedback is delivered, the fee is refunded in full.
6. Plans, billing and payments
- Libwanda has a free plan and paid monthly plans, listed on our pricing. Prices are in US dollars.
- Paid plans renew every month until you cancel. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. Fees already paid aren't refundable except where these terms or the law say otherwise.
- If a renewal payment fails, you have 7 days to update your payment method before the plan ends.
- We'll tell you at least 30 days before any price change applies to your plan.
Online payments are coming soon. Until card and mobile money payments launch, no payments are taken on Libwanda.
7. Jobs, hiring and client work
- Libwanda connects creatives with clients and employers. We aren't a party to any agreement between them, and we don't guarantee any job, hire, payment or result.
- Employers are responsible for their job posts and for handling applicants' documents (CV, cover letter, ID) lawfully and only for hiring.
- Job posts may be reviewed by our team before they are published.
8. Resources
When you submit a mockup, tool or course, you confirm you have the right to share it and that others may use it as you describe. Submissions are reviewed by our team before they are published, and we may reject or remove any resource.
9. Verification
Identity verification is optional. The Verified badge means our team checked an identity document; it isn't an endorsement of a member's work. Documents are stored privately and only administrators can view them; see our Privacy Policy.
10. The Libwanda Assistant
The Assistant gives automated answers and writing suggestions. They can be wrong, so check anything important. Don't share passwords or confidential client information in the chat.
11. Closing your account
You can stop using Libwanda at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing info.libwanda@gmail.com from your account's email address. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts other members at risk.
12. Disclaimers and liability
Libwanda is provided "as is". We work to keep it available, secure and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of important files.
To the extent the law allows, Libwanda is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what other members do, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Libwanda grows. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it applies. Continuing to use Libwanda after that means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda. If you have a question or a complaint, contact us first at info.libwanda@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +231 777 420 254, and we'll do our best to resolve it.
